The Junior School Certificate in short know as JSC, is a public examination conducted by all education boards in Bangladesh. JSC is a benchmark education qualification, any students who qualified JSC exam in Bangladesh they known as 8th class pass student . It is followed by Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in Bangladesh. Many students are doing better in this exam.
At earlier stages  JSC was only a vocational (optional) exam. The JSC was introduced in 2010 in replacement of the junior scholarship exams or class final exams. The examination is scheduled to end on November 18. It is said that JSC was also introduced so that the poor and destitute people of rural part of the country can do well in the exam.
